Sterling Municipal Library is hosting a Book Club just for moms! In honor of Houston author Katherine Center, who will be the featured author for this year’s Friends of the Library Evening with the Author event (April 12), Mommy Book Club will be reading and discussing her novel, The Bright Side of Disaster.
This is the fictional story of a Texas single mother who struggles through her baby’s first year. Both humorous and heart-felt this is the perfect book for mommies who have been there!
Because we know that moms are busy people, we will be host the discussion during a regularly scheduled storytime here at the Library. While children’s librarian Mr. Martin and his helpers entertain the kids with stories, songs, and crafts, moms can break away and share their thoughts on the novel.
