This project will acquire available property to design and construct additional storage to the existing storm water detention basin to reduce the risk of flooding and to mitigate existing and future flooding. This project is identified in the 2010 Drainage Master plan as an area needing improvements.
Construct a storm water detention pond that will allow the collection of storm water from the contributing drainage area into a storage basin and release the water at a predevelopment discharge. The storm water detention basin will reduce the risk of flooding in the area.
