Baytown’s oldest park, Roseland Park is located at 100 Roseland Drive. Named after Rosa Kilgore who donated the land for a park, it is a large space with various facilities for everyone to enjoy. A playground and splash park both have shade covers and room to run and play. The Roseland Splash Park will continue in operation until November 3rd, 2023.
The new Clubhouse at Roseland Park is available for event rentals. All events must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Reserve online or in-person at the Baytown Community Center.
The park also contains sports facilities such as a backstop, a basketball court, and two sand volleyball courts. The entirety of the park is surrounded by a paved walkway for visitors to walk, run, or bike.
The Roseland Park waterfront along Cedar Bayou is a popular spot for fishing in Baytown and the boat ramps and kayak launch provide easy access for getting out on the water. Pavilions and picnic tables around the park are available first come first served.
