Homeownership is a dream for many Baytown residents but may feel out of reach . The City of Baytown offers up to 5% of the sales price of the home in down payment/closing cost assistance to income-qualified residents.
How Do I Qualify?
18+ years old.
Homebuyer has obtained Mortgage financing.
Complete an approved Homebuyers Education course.
Homebuyer must contribute 2% of the sales price towards the purchase of the home.
Applicant must not exceed the 80% of the median income limits.
