Presentation / Speaker Request

Officers of the Baytown Police Department Crime Prevention Unit (CPU) are responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with communities making it one of the most active divisions of the Department.  The CPU is charged with providing the citizens of Baytown with a forum of programs to help them eliminate or reduce exposure to crime.  

The CPU consists of sworn Crime Prevention Specialists that work closely with the community stakeholders to provide numerous Crime Prevention programs to the community.   CPU personnel regularly participate in events through the community including National Night Out, Coffee with A Cop, Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Program, and other events.   Additionally, the CPU personnel offer presentations on a wide variety of programs and services for all age groups, at schools and related events, as well as to both public and private organizations and companies.
