Baytown Parks and Recreation is proud to announce the return of one of our most popular community events—$1 Taco Night—on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Baytown Town Square, located at 213 W. Texas Avenue. Timed just ahead of Cinco de Mayo, this free, family-friendly celebration brings together local food vendors, live entertainment, and interactive activities for all ages.

Guests can enjoy special $1 tacos from a variety of local taco trucks, each offering their own unique take on this classic favorite. Attendees are invited to sample them all and vote for the “Best Taco in Baytown.” In addition to the food, the event will feature live music from Los Gran Reyes, followed by a headline performance from The Tiarras, who recently performed at the 2024 ACL Music Festival.

The fun doesn’t stop with tacos and tunes—families can enjoy a wide range of free activities, including piñatas for children, a toddler play zone, lawn games, and mechanical bull riding. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and spend the evening enjoying the lively atmosphere with friends, neighbors, and visitors from across the community.

Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from The Dirty Daiquiri. No outside alcohol will be permitted within the event premises.
