The end of June brought great momentum for Baytown Parks, thanks to volunteers from Chayce Jreams, Inc. and Home Depot.
On June 27, Chayce Jreams hosted a College Preparedness Series for high school upperclassmen from GCCISD and brought 15 volunteers to Pelly Park, where they:
• Spread fresh mulch
• Refreshed benches
• Collected litter
The following day, 27 Home Depot volunteers headed to Baytown Soccer Park to apply a fresh coat of paint to the pipe rails — helping preserve the park’s infrastructure and appearance.
