For his project, Ryan looked at how Fire staff track and finish the steps for Fire members to move up to the Intermediate and Advanced certification levels with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection. After he Defined and Measured the issue, Ryan used a Fishbone Diagram to help him Analyze what was happening. He found that there were several reasons for the issue, like confusion about how and when to do the process. What a great opportunity to look at ways to make the process easier and more organized for everyone. Great job, Ryan – we can’t wait to see you in Black Belt soon!
