In recognition of National Arbor Day, the City of Baytown is proud to reaffirm its commitment to environmental stewardship and community well-being. On Friday, April 25, 2025, the Parks and Recreation Department will host a free tree giveaway to encourage residents and visitors alike to contribute to a more sustainable future—two trees per household, while supplies last.
The event will begin at 8:00 AM at the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Center, located at 1724 Market Street, Baytown, Texas 77520. Trees will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with no registration required. Both residents and non-residents are welcome to participate.
By planting trees in our neighborhoods, we not only beautify our surroundings but also invest in cleaner air, stronger ecosystems, and a healthier climate. This initiative reflects Baytown’s ongoing dedication to preserving natural spaces and promoting civic engagement.
