With twenty-five years of dedicated service to the City of Baytown, Adriana has built a deeply fulfilling career rooted in public service, teamwork, and a love for continuous learning. What began in the year 2000 as an opportunity to serve the community quickly became a lifelong commitment — a journey marked by collaboration, innovation, and a heart for helping others.
Over the years, Adriana has served in several key roles within the Planning and Development Services Department. She participated in Baytown’s very first Development Review Committee meeting back in 2001, helped advance Floodplain Community Rating System initiative, and at one point oversaw the Permit Center, ensuring great service to residents and builders alike.
Most recently, Adriana played an important role in mapping all building permit processes to help launch the City’s online permitting system, Energov — a milestone that has made doing business with the City easier and more efficient for everyone.
Each experience has provided valuable lessons and strengthened her dedication to improving the lives of Baytown residents and supporting colleagues across departments.
Adriana is especially grateful for the unwavering support of their family and the many mentors, teammates, and community members who have shaped their journey. Their guidance and collaboration have been instrumental in every success along the way.
Reaching this twenty-five-year milestone represents more than time served. It’s a reflection of purpose, growth, and gratitude — and a reminder of the incredible impact one person can have through steady commitment and heart for service.
Adriana looks forward to continuing to serve the Baytown community that has given her so much.
