"I have been with the City for nine years, beginning part-time in Building Maintenance under Terry Raymond at the Community Center on the Recreation side of Parks and Recreation, where I connected with the community in ways I never had before and discovered how much I truly love Baytown and its citizens. Later, I transitioned to the Parks side of the department, which has been the most rewarding experience—Parks is fun, always offering something new, different, and challenging. I’m grateful for how much we accomplish with the budget we have and am inspired daily by the creative, innovative people I work alongside. Outside of work, I’m a mother of four girls who are my whole world, and when I find time for myself, I enjoy foraging and spending time in nature."
