Don't be a turkey on the sidelines. Sign up for Baytown's 2023 Turkey Trot 1K/5K on Saturday, November 18 at 8am. The race will take place at Jenkins Park, located at 4334 Crosby Cedar Bayou.
The kids 1K will start at 8am. For children ages 12 and under, it only costs $5 to register. The 5K will start at 9am and is for all ages. Medals and timed results will be handed out after the race. Participants are also encouraged to gobble gobble and wear turkey-themed costumes or running gear. There will be a DJ, photo opportunities, runner snacks, and free goodies.
You can walk or run, but you're encouraged to come out and join the community for some morning exercise. You can even use it as an excuse to eat more at Thanksgiving.
