The Baytown Police Department, with the assistance of the Special Investigations Division (SID), SWAT, K9, and Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), arrests 22-year-old Aaron Heads Jr. and 25-year-old Deavonte Williams, both from Baytown. Active warrants were issued for 25-year-old Larry Harris and 22-year-old Zaviay Turner, who are in custody at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). All individuals are documented gang members. The Harris County ADA accepted the charge of murder for all mentioned individuals in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Domonique Million, who was pregnant at the time. Her baby survived at 7 months. This arrest is the culmination of a rigorous three-year investigation. Through the combined efforts of utilizing National Integrated Ballistic Information Network
(NIBIN), ATF, and our dedicated in-house digital forensics unit, we were able to build a solid case internally. This significant achievement highlights the countless hours spent revisiting the case and re-interviewing individuals, which ultimately brought forth additional crucial information. On May 24, 2021 at approximately 6:30 p.m., Baytown Police responded to a call of shots fired at The Brixton Apartments located at 1601 Garth Road.
Detectives arrived on scene and during the course of their investigation, learned that occupants in a maroon vehicle and a black vehicle had exchanged gun fire near the apartment complex. One of bullets entered a nearby apartment, striking a 23-year-old pregnant woman in the head as she was inside her apartment. The victim was life-flighted to Memorial-Hermann Hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
